Dr. Donald Dietze is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than 30 years of experience treating complex spinal and neurological conditions. A Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Dietze is widely respected for his leadership in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal reconstruction, and dynamic stabilization techniques.
Dr. Dietze is the founder of Dietze & Logan Spine Specialists and currently practices at Spine Innovations in Lacombe, Louisiana. Over the course of his career, he has served in academic, hospital-employed, and private practice settings, including faculty roles at Tulane University’s Department of Neurosurgery. He is also actively involved in peer-reviewed research and medical education, contributing as a reviewer for The Spine Journal and Global Spine Journal and serving on national committees such as the AANS Ethics Committee and NASS Coverage Task Force.
In addition to authoring multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters, Dr. Dietze has presented extensively at national spine and neurosurgical conferences on topics such as cerebellar mutism, spinal instrumentation, and interbody fusion techniques. He remains committed to advancing spine care through innovation, ethics, and collaboration.
